Tenant Liaison Jobs

The key responsibility of tenant liaison jobs is to ensure a strong flow of communication between tenants and their landlords. Traditionally employed by housing associations and local authorities, tenant liaison officers also work as a go-between for construction companies in the process of conducting works in built-up areas.

Tenant liaison officer jobs are often entry level positions into housing management or can lead to a specialist decanting role on future development projects.  Candidates often come from a housing background but can also have worked in customer service positions.

Need to be mobile in tenant liaison officer jobs

Communication skills are the most important component of the role. It is vital that tenant liaison officers can communicate with tenants in a professional and informative way, often in difficult or irate circumstances. Mobility is another key aspect of the job, so access to your own transport is vital.

Demand is often dependent on the type of projects being undertaken so can fluctuate depending on economic trends. Salaries are based on experience, the size of the area being managed, and the type of project being undertaken.
