Customer / Tenant Services Jobs
If you enjoy dealing with the public then a customer/tenant services job could be for you. This is a front-line position and the duties will be varied so it is vital you are able to prioritise your workload and act on your own initiative.
There is no such thing as a typical day - customer and tenant services jobs could see you manning the reception or even working on the cash counter taking rent payments. You will need to take details from customers and direct their queries to the correct departments you must take detailed and accurate information. Good IT skills are therefore be an advantage.
Excellent customer service skills for tenant services jobs
You should be educated to a minimum of GCSE level and ideally will have an NVQ in Customer Care or Administration. Previous experience of working within a housing or construction background would be advantageous but good customer service and computer skills are essential.
This is an excellent entry level position for anyone wishing to pursue a career in housing, you will work alongside experienced housing professionals who will help you develop and learn whilst you are working in what can be a very rewarding role.
