Sanders Industries is a privately held company headquartered in Buena Park, California just south of Los Angeles.  It is structured in three divisions:  Rubbercraft which is primarily moulded rubber products focused on aerospace and niche industries, Alloy Die Casting which is focused on value added die castings and fast response casting for a variety of niche industries and the Engineered Seals Group. Sanders has core competency in rubber and plastics products and metal products as well as an excellent track record of acquiring and growing businesses previously held by entrepreneurs.  Sanders acquires and grows businesses much like private equity but instead they hold and integrate companies rather than resell them.

The Engineered Seals Group of Sanders Industries was formed in October 2007.  It is the result of the acquisition of Creavey Seal Company in 2005 and Northern Engineering in 2006.  Sanders operated the businesses as part of its Rubbercraft Division but determined that the real strategic value would be in operating and building a separate seals group.  Consistent with the Sanders approach, the group is focused on manufacturing high technology seals for niche markets.

Currently the group focuses on Teflon encapsulated seals with excellent chemical resistance, specialty moulded seals and short run O-rings sold to the semi-conductor, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, food, fluid handling and other industries.  Products are manufactured in Sheffield, England and Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA.  The group also distributes products from Sheffield throughout the USA from a small warehouse in Lakeland, Florida.

Also consistent with Sanders Industries, the group has growth plans that include organic growth through new products and share improvement as well as through acquisition.  The group currently has several acquisition targets.
