Bonnie Clarke scoops ‘Consultant of the Year’ award in Scotland
Bonnie Clarke of Hays Human Resources was declared Recruitment Agency Consultant of the Year at the prestigious annual Hr NETWORK (SCOTLAND) NATIONAL AWARDS 2007, in association with Snowdrop.
“This is a remarkable accomplishment and a truly exceptional honour for all the hard work and dedication of Bonnie and her team in Scotland,” says Heidi Waddington, Managing Director of Hays Human Resources.
The prestigious and unique awards, whose motto is ‘Recognise, Acknowledge and Reward’, were presented to the 12 category winners at a gala dinner on Thursday 22 November at the Prestonfield House Hotel, Edinburgh.
Providing excellent service
“The reason we won is because of our service delivery,” explains Bonnie. “This award goes to all the fantastic team of people who’ve supported and been behind every step of the way.”
The event organisers originally contacted Bonnie to inform her that she had made it to the final three, commemorated by a special luncheon at the Bonham Hotel, Edinburgh.
“There are scores of dedicated recruitment consultants in Scotland and to be at the very top of that pile is quite some achievement,” stresses Lee Turner, publisher of Hr NETWORK SCOTLAND magazine.

Bonnie Clarke’s nomination was put forward by her clients and reviewed by an independent board of advisers, making the achievement extra special.
“It was a totally unique experience being surrounded by so many of my peers, candidates and clients,” says an elated Bonnie. “I was absolutely convinced that I hadn’t won. An amazing feeling.”
Bonnie is an Associate Director based in Hays’ Edinburgh office, specialising in the Executive HR market. She joined Hays five years ago to open the HR office in the Scottish capital and her role covers a regional remit across Scotland.
