The suits get on site for charity - C Winter Final
Recruitment consultants at the leading specialist recruitment agency Hays Trades & Labour are getting their hands dirty as part of their annual Suits on Site event. Christina Winter from Hays on Guild Street in Aberdeen worked on site for the day in aid of a fantastic charity.
Christina worked for Banchory Contractors on a construction site “The Park”, beside Pittodrie. In return for her hard work Banchory Contractors made a generous donation of £101 towards The Lighthouse Club, a charity which supports victims of workplace accidents and their families in the construction industry. Throughout the day, she had to undertake a number of labour intensive tasks.
Christina says: “It was hard work, but is a great task to support a worthwhile charity, plus it gave me first hand experience of what is required when we place people in jobs out on site. Across the UK, we are hoping that this event will raise over £5,000 for the Lighthouse Club. Thanks to Banchory Contractors for its generous donation which will help us to reach this target.”
