Spec 1 - Corporate Originator job

Top Tier UK Bank are seeking a Corporate Originator to work within their Corporate Banking Channel, whose customers turn over is between £100-500m per annum.

Duties include:

  • Origination of new business opportunities with regards to loan products and other banking product cross sales
  • Completing client facility renewals and reviews
  • Preparation of in depth lending proposals for deal size £5-100m
  • Relationship Management of an existing, industry sector specific group of clients

Spec 2 - Corporate Business Development Director role

Top Tier UK Bank is seeking a Corporate Business Development Director to work within their Corporate Banking Channel, in a specialist industry sector, whose customers turn over is £25m+.

Duties of the role include:

  • Leadership and development of others encouraging/adopting a collaborative approach to achieve objectives
  • Actively practicing and promoting a continuous improvement culture within your sphere of influence
  • Originate, develop and deliver a range of banking opportunities, establishing new client relationships both direct to prospects and via key business introducers.
  • Prepare and deliver recommendations to Director / Head of Function on larger transactions.
  • Demonstrate confidence and experience in networking with a proven track record of delivering significant amounts of new business.
  • Establish, develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships with introducers and stakeholders.
  • Arrange and attend networking events with target clients and introducers.
  • Undertake transaction negotiations with appropriate parties, e.g. customers, prospects, advisors, internal credit, other funders.
  • Oversee/undertake financial modeling, including reviewing forecasts and trend analysis for prospective new customer opportunities/relationships.
  • Oversee/undertake risk assessment including appropriate sensitivity analysis to mitigate against potential losses.
  • Manage operational risk taking appropriate action to mitigate and ensure adherence to Divisional, Group and external regulatory policies.

Spec 3 - Corporate Banking Analyst position

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our top banking client for a highly motivated individuals to join the Real Estate team in London at Corporate Banking Analyst level.

The main purpose of this role is to provide a high level of personalised, operational support to both the team and customers, undertaking a range of services and administrative and compliance related tasks.

The portfolios of the teams include a mix of clients, engaged in both property development and property investment, and include some of London Real Estate's largest customers. Given the customers involved, this is a demanding role but also rewarding in terms of the experience to be gained.

The role provides an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to gain experience in the real estate market.

Spec 4 - Leveraged Finance Originator job

Leading UK Bank are seeking a Leveraged Finance Originator to work within their Private Equity Group.

Duties include:

  • To actively support as a team member and lead where appropriate transactions requiring specialist/complex funding activity to maximise return on equity from new/introductory sources of business opportunity whilst optimising management of balance sheet risk;
  • Lead/project manage (until deal completion) complex transactions under guidance providing recommendation on the design, structure and sell down of deals
  • Undertake/review market structuring and performance reports, statistical and sectoral analysis, and credit and risk assessments to make informed decisions with regard to the transaction ensuring the quality of deals
  • Prepare recommendations/presentations to line manager on large-scale transactions
  • Originate/create, negotiate and convert opportunities
  • Instigate and control the associated process in the delivery of complex funding arrangements including the review of documentation, preparation/review of credit applications, scoping and completion of the due diligence process;
  • Develop and maintain client and cross-divisional relationships, providing and advisory service to the business area as required
